If you are interested in volunteering for the Women Build project, please take part in the Volunteer Orientation offered the first Saturday of every other month. By seeing firsthand the results of hundreds of hours of volunteer effort, you will be able to better decide to what extent you would like to become involved. By the end of the Volunteer Orientation, you will have a better concept of how and why Habitat for Humanity does what it does and how you can help in our mission to eradicate substandard housing in the Greater Columbus area.
To register for the Volunteer Orientation, please click here. After the Volunteer Orientation, a representative from Women Build will be available to answer any questions you may have.

Habitat Job Site Youth Policy
The Secretary of Labor has set out guidelines from which Habitat for Humanity - Greater Columbus has fashioned a policy for all construction sites. Habitat is asking all construction leaders to help with the compliance of this policy.
The only exception to this policy is when a school-supervised and school-administered work experience or career exploration program has been coordinated through Habitat. In this care the sponsoring school is required to certify that the exception applies to each child.
Youth under the age of 14

4. Carpentry that is done off site and does not involve the use of power tools, or working on a ladder or any other heights.

3. Excavation/working around open holes or excavations
