Have an old computer and don’t know what to do with it? Are you too environmentally conscious to throw it in the trash where harmful materials end up in the local landfill? Habitat for Humanity-Greater Columbus has a solution for you... donate your used computer equipment to support Habitat families!
HFHGC is currently collecting used desktop computers, laptops, monitors, hard drives, and other computing equipment at asset recovery partner, TechUsed, located at 4231-H Leap Rd. Hilliard, Ohio. At time of drop-off, please designate the donation is for Habitat for Humanity-Greater Columbus. All donations are appreciated. Computer equipment does not have to be in working order to be donated. TechUsed will securely destroy all data files on donated equipment as part of refurbishing to ensure privacy of any stored information.
Donated computers that may be beyond repair will be disassembled and environmentally recycled to divert harmful computer materials such as lead, mercury, and PCBs from our local landfill. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of any recyclable materials will also benefit Habitat for Humanity-Greater Columbus.
