The Columbus Foundation’s PowerPhilanthropy

Since 1943, The Columbus Foundation has assisted donors and others to strengthen and improve our community for the benefit of all its residents. The Columbus Foundation is a trusted philanthropic advisor to more than 1,700 individuals, families, and businesses who want to make a difference in the lives of others through charitable giving. People from all walks of life have partnered with the Foundation to create unique named funds to support the causes they care about. The Foundation’s website provides information about creating a fund, planning for a future fund, or donating to an existing fund.

In 2008, The Columbus Foundation launched PowerPhilanthropy® – an online, searchable database that links donors to hundreds of local nonprofit organizations. Each organization is represented by a comprehensive PowerPhilanthropy portrait that offers detailed information on programs, finances, management, and services, as well as a link for making a convenient online gift. To access PowerPhilanthropy, simply register for your username and password at www.columbusfoundation.org. Once you’re logged in, you can easily view our portrait and make a donation to Habitat for Humanity-Greater Columbus.
