Bring your reusable home improvement building materials or supplies to Habitat’s ReStore. We accept donations until one hour before the store closing time of 6:00 p.m. Our staff and volunteers are available to help you unload. Receipts for tax purposes are provided.
Pick-up services are also available for large or bulk donations; call (614) RESTORE to schedule. Pick-ups are usually scheduled for pick-up within one week.
Yes. All items must be organized and removed from your home. Items must be in a garage or outside. We will not remove/disconnect items from the house.
While reusable items don’t have to be in perfect condition, it helps the re-sale potential when items are free of old adhesives and are fairly clean. All nails must be removed. Help us present it in a condition that you would consider buying it if you saw it in the store. Our manpower is limited, so we cannot devote time to cleaning items after them arrive in the store. Your assistance in preparing items for re-sale is appreciated.
Most donations are tax deductible. You will receive a receipt for your donation to use for tax purposes. Habitat’s ReStore will not estimate the value of your donation; you will do that.
Donations may be made at the ReStore until one hour before closing at 6:00 on Monday – Saturday. Our staff and volunteer can assist you with unloading.
Monday-Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
We make every effort to monitor the costs of similar products at retail stores, and we typically offer our products for sale at about 50% of the cost of retail. Therefore, since we believe that we are offering our shoppers a deep discount and value for their dollar, we do not negotiate. Remember, all monies earned by ReStore directly offset the administrative costs of Habitat for Humanity-Greater Columbus and helps to create homeownership for families in our community.
Yes. Purchased items can be held for up to 3 days.
No, we are sorry but we do not currently offer delivery services. We have a limited number of trucks, staff, and volunteers and cannot support these additional services.
We gladly accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and cash.
Our staff and volunteers have a pretty good sense of what is or isn’t available in the store at a given time. If we can assist you, we will. However, we cannot assure you that an item will be available or that you will be satisfied with its condition. Therefore, we recommend you come in person to shop for the items you are seeking.
All sales are final. Please check your items for completeness and proper function before leaving the store. Also, please know the exact measurements for your project before purchasing materials from the store.
