Budgeting

Habitat for Humanity-Greater Columbus is now proud to offer Personal Budgeting Assistance—the opportunity to work individually with a trained Budget Mentor to determine your current financial standing and provide directions for the future. If you are interested in scheduling a session, please contact Melissa Landon, Mortgage Program Supervisor, at (614)-364-7011 or mlandon@habitatcolumbus.org.

We hope you will take advantage of this service.

Connect Columbus

Through a partnership between Habitat for Humanity-Greater Columbus and local computer refurbisher and recycler, Redemtech, your family now has the opportunity to receive a FREE computer! If you are interested in this possibility and have not yet completed your intake survey, you will need to contact Erin Roscoe, Family Support Coordinator at (614)-364-7015 or eroscoe@habitatcolumbus.org.

As part of this program, you are required to complete 2 computer classes before receiving your computer. These classes are Computer Basics and Internet Safety. If you are not in need of computer basics training, you will be required to assist fellow Habitat homeowners during training instead. Please see below for more information on the computer class schedule.

Any additional questions regarding the computer program can be directed to Erin Roscoe.

Homeowner Warranty

The Homeowner should understand that like other products made by humans, a house is not perfect. It will show some minor flaws and unforeseeable defects, and it may require some adjustments and touching up. A house requires more maintenance and care than most products because it is made of many different components, each with its own special characteristics.

Habitat for Humanity-Greater Columbus will make necessary repairs and replacements to your home due to faulty workmanship or defects in materials which appear for a period of one year beginning at the date of closing.

If you are having an issue with your Washer, Dryer, Refrigerator, or Stove please contact Whirlpool at 1-800-253-1301. For all other warranty issues, please contact Lisa Jones at 614-364-7014 or ljones@habitatcolumbus.org.
