Looking for Individual Volunteer Opportunities?
On-Site Construction: Work on a Habitat build site under the instruction of a House/Crew Lead. We can use groups up to a maximum of 10-12 people, and you must be at least 16 years old to volunteer on-site. Full day commitment (8:30 AM - 4:30 PM) is required, and we build Tuesday-Saturday, with weekdays being our biggest need. We currently have a backlog of Saturday groups. Contact us if you would like to be added to our Saturday waiting list. Groups may also want to consider bringing funding to speed up your time on the wait list and help create future volunteer opportunities.
Construction volunteer groups MUST come with the understanding that group activities can be extremely variable because of issues like weather, contractors, equipment failure, etc.

Store Floor Team: Our store is in need of volunteers who are willing to help process donations, organize displays, and work with customers in the Habitat ReStore. Habitat’s ReStore sells new and reusable building materials to the public to help support the mission of Habitat for Humanity-Greater Columbus. We can accommodate volunteer groups as large as 20. Volunteers must be 14 or older; youth groups must have a minimum of 1 adult per 5 youth.
Flexible Volunteer Hours! We can accommodate full or partial volunteer days anytime Monday - Saturday from 9:30am to 6:00pm.

Deconstruction Crew: Much of the merchandise available for sale at Habitat’s ReStore comes comes from deconstructions of buildings that will be demolished or are being remodeled. Volunteers salvage construction materials that are later sold in Habitat’s ReStore (at an affordable cost) to benefit Habitat for Humanity-Greater Columbus. Deconstruction projects vary in degree and length.
